Five years ago, you were hit by a truck and woke up in Universe-1, a realm of mad science and superheroics. This version of Earth has an exciting superheroic team, the Strong Helpers. They investigated the spatial anomaly that dumped your injured body into the street, and their support staff helped get you back on your feet in this universe where nobody knew you and your money had all the wrong dudes on it. You ended up working for them as a dispatcher. You take a teleporter every morning to their orbital control center, the Help Moon. You get a sharp-looking uniform and great benefits. You’re told that it’s very cool to get to talk to the heroes now and then. It’s almost enough to distract you from the loneliness and existential dread of being stranded in the wrong reality forever.

Decimated is a gamebook to be adventured through in a PDF reader. Both the main gamebook and the character sheet contain interactive elements, so don't print them out.
